M-I-A in MIA

It's shockingly true that I've experienced some of the craziest mountain hikes in Ecuador, yet I've never really explored the landmark Latin American colony we call Miami. Maybe its because I've lived in Puerto Rico for 18+ years, but Miami had not caught my attention until I was invited by Lorenzo's family to a 40th birthday celebration. That, I could never say no to.

My two day-stay in Miami began in none other than DCA (Reagan National) Airport, where I was greeted by the staff of CLEAR (PS: If you haven't enrolled, DO IT NOW! THIS IS NOT A PAID AD, button is below) and breezed through airport security and was at my gate within 5 minutes.

Miami is a strange, interesting place. I find it quite similar to the skyline in Panama City, which I visited in Summer 2015. Although I was there for only a couple of days (quite literally, spent 48 hours total), I enjoyed soaking up the sun at Nikki Beach in South Beach, before heading to celebrate Carlos' 40th Birthday.
